The EDP Lisbon Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, 7 March 2027, at 09:30. Its start is on the 25 de Abril Bridge and the finish is near the Jerónimos Monastery in Belém. The organiser's current event page gives the edition details. This is not the Hyundai Half Marathon of 11 October 2026, which uses the Vasco da Gama Bridge and finishes downtown.
Where do I collect my bib?
The 2027 organiser page places the Sport Expo at the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa in the Junqueira/Belém area. It schedules bib and kit collection for 4, 5 and 6 March, 10:00–20:00, with no race-day collection. Bring the registration document emailed to you; a representative may collect with that document. The organiser currently says there is no race bag-drop service for this event. Arrange where to leave non-race belongings before travelling to the start.
Because the Expo and the start are on different sides of the river, do not treat bib collection as a rehearsal for race morning. Read the latest organiser email and its event FAQ before leaving your accommodation.
How do runners reach the bridge start?
The organiser says runners must use Fertagus trains to Pragal station, then follow the signed route to the start. It currently describes this as the only access to the bridge start, from either bank of the Tagus. Bib holders may use the designated public-transport arrangements described by the organiser, but the precise 2027 train plan and start waves should be checked again when the final runner's guide is issued. Spectators are not admitted onto the bridge. See Fertagus and the event page for current travel notices.
After finishing in Belém, plan your way back from the Jerónimos area, not from Pragal. Crowds and road restrictions may make a car pickup awkward. Agree on a meeting point away from the finish funnel and check your return Metro, tram, bus or rail route. Our Lisbon transport guide helps compare tickets and connections.
What should a visitor or spectator know?
Choose a viewing point from the final course map, which the organiser says may differ from the 2026 map currently shown in its FAQ. Allow extra time around the riverfront and Belém on race morning. Check Carris alterations and CP alerts for the actual day rather than relying on a normal Sunday timetable.
The Lisbon Marathon in October is a separate 42 km event with a different start and finish plan. If you are flying to Lisbon for this race, our airport arrival guide and luggage guide cover the rest of the trip.
