You can fit a game of padel into a Lisbon stay without travelling far outside the city. The useful choice is where you are staying, whether you want an indoor court and whether you already have three other players. Court availability and price change by day and time, so use a club's booking page for your actual slot rather than a rate copied from an old guide.
Three starting points in different parts of Lisbon
Rackets Pro Saldanha is on the roof of Mercado 31 de Janeiro, Rua Engenheiro Vieira da Silva, 2nd floor, 1050-094 Lisboa. The club lists five indoor courts, coaching, a sports shop and online court booking. Its central location makes it a practical first check if you are staying around Saldanha or Marquês de Pombal. Confirm the market entrance and lift or stair route to the rooftop before you leave.
Clube de Padel Alcântara is at Doca de Santo Amaro, 1350-353 Lisboa, under the 25 de Abril Bridge. Its official site lists eight semi-covered courts and links to Playtomic for bookings, as well as an academy and social play. The riverside setting can be a reason to choose it if you are already spending time around Alcântara or Belém. Check the route from your accommodation: “near the bridge” is not the same as a short walk from every central neighbourhood.
Lisboa Racket Centre is at Rua Alferes Malheiro, 1700-025 Lisboa, in Alvalade. The club describes padel courts, lessons and other racket sports. It suits a trip based farther north or someone looking for a lesson as well as a court. Contact the club for the current booking method and the particular session you need.
These are practical examples, not a ranking or a claim that we have played at each club. Open Rackets Pro in Google Maps, Clube de Padel Alcântara or Lisboa Racket Centre for the last part of your journey.
Booking a game while travelling
Check whether the displayed price is for the whole court or per player, the session length, the surface and whether the court is covered. If you are travelling alone, look for an open match on the club's booking platform or ask reception about social games and level matching; do not book a four-player court assuming the club will supply partners.
If you did not bring equipment, ask the club before paying whether it rents rackets, sells balls and requires a deposit. Neither availability nor hire cost should be assumed from the court booking alone. Check the cancellation window, especially if you are visiting for only a few days. Take a water bottle and allow for changing time if you have a timed dinner or train afterwards.
Our Lisbon transport guide helps compare the journey to the club; the weather guide is useful if you choose a semi-covered or outdoor court.
