Every November, Lisbon becomes the beating heart of global innovation as the Web Summit gathers thousands of entrepreneurs, tech enthusiasts, and creative minds from around the world. In 2026, the event will take place from November 9 to 12 at MEO Arena and FIL (Feira Internacional de Lisboa), right in the modern waterfront district of Parque das Nações.

Getting to Web Summit

One of the great advantages of the event's location is how easy it is to reach. The MEO Arena is only 4 km from Lisbon Airport, so getting there is quick and straightforward.

Official Service

A dedicated shuttle service runs between Oriente Station and Praça do Comércio (historic centre). Operated by Carris, it runs regularly throughout the event.

Public Transport Passes

To use Lisbon's metro, buses, and trams, you'll need a rechargeable Navegante card, available for €0.50 at any metro station. You can load it with single or daily tickets.

Web Summit attendees can also purchase discounted 1-, 3-, or 5-day passes through a special partnership with Metropolitano de Lisboa. Passes are available online and at physical sales points.

Large bags and suitcases are not allowed inside the Web Summit venue.

Registration and Accreditation

To access the Web Summit venue, you'll need your ticket (available in the app) and a photo ID. Registration is required to collect your lanyard and wristband, both of which must be worn daily and at Night Summit events.
